Job description

We are looking for a VP of Operations/ Head of Operations who will drive day-to-day execution across the company and help transform Microamp into a more business-driven, execution-focused and scalable organization. This is a highly strategic and hands-on leadership role at the center of the company. You will work directly with the CEO and leadership team to turn strategy into execution, build operational discipline, improve cross-functional alignment, and ensure the company can scale effectively across customers, partners, products and geographies. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in fast-moving environments and can combine strong operational leadership with commercial awareness, structured execution and scaling mindset. You should be equally comfortable solving immediate operational issues, building internal systems, driving accountability and helping leadership focus the organization on the highest business-impact priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Company Execution and Operating Rhythm

  • Own and drive day-to-day operations across the business, ensuring smooth, disciplined and predictable execution 

  • Partner closely with the CEO to translate company strategy into clear operational priorities, execution plans, milestones and measurable outcomes 

  • Establish and maintain a strong operating cadence across the organization, including planning, KPI reviews, progress tracking, decision-making forums and follow-ups 

  • Identify operational bottlenecks early, resolve issues quickly and drive continuous improvement across teams 

  • Build a culture of accountability, execution discipline and high-quality follow-through

Delivery, Operations, and Customer Readiness

  • Build, improve and optimize scalable processes across radio/gNodeB manufacturing, supply chain, deployment, post-sales support, customer delivery and customer satisfaction 

  • Ensure operational readiness to support global deployment and long-term customer success 

  • Coordinate execution with delivery and solution partners to ensure consistent, high-quality outcomes 

  • Develop and track operational metrics that support decision-making, execution visibility and performance improvement 

  • Strengthen internal coordination to ensure commitments to customers and partners are delivered reliably and on time 

Corporate Operations, Governance, and Compliance

  • Oversee core corporate operations, including administration, HR, finance coordination, legal and contract coordination, governance and key internal business processes 

  • Coordinate external legal firms and support contract management, regulatory compliance and commercial obligations 

  • Oversee corporate entities and administrative obligations, ensuring proper governance across jurisdictions, including board meetings, resolutions, documentation and follow-ups 

  • Coordinate intellectual property processes, including support for patent filings, documentation, timelines, and cooperation with external patent attorneys 

  • Support and oversee certifications, ISO standards, and other compliance requirements necessary for international growth and delivery at scale 

Grants, Investors, and Strategic Stakeholders

  • Oversee execution of publicly funded grants and projects, ensuring compliance, reporting quality, and alignment with business objectives 

  • Lead preparation and organization of investor due diligence materials, including data rooms, document requests, and audit trails 

  • Coordinate effectively with strategic partners, investors, and other stakeholders involved in Microamp’s growth 

  • Ensure the company presents itself with strong operational credibility to customers, partners, and investors

Job requirements

Required Experience and Capabilities

  • 10+ years of experience in operations, business operations, scaling, or similar leadership roles 

  • Experience in startups, scale-ups, or other high-growth environments 

  • Proven track record of building structure and operating discipline in fast-changing, unstructured organizations 

  • Strong ability to lead cross-functional execution and align diverse teams around shared priorities 

  • Demonstrated success in improving processes, operating rhythms, KPIs, reporting and organizational effectiveness 

  • Strong ownership mindset with the ability to operate independently and make decisions in ambiguous environments 

  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to move fluently between strategic thinking and hands-on execution 

  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the credibility to work closely with senior leadership, partners, and investors 

  • High level of discretion and comfort handling confidential and sensitive information 

  • Fluent in English and Polish 

Nice to have

  • Experience in deep-tech, telecom, wireless, infrastructure, hardware/software, defence-tech, or similarly complex technology environments

  • Experience supporting international growth, delivery scaling and operational readiness across multiple markets 

  • Exposure to regulated environments, certifications, quality systems or complex partner ecosystems

  • Experience working closely with CEOs, founders or executive teams during periods of scaling and organizational transition
